I just now saw this comment today. ...Brother Dan:

I just now saw this comment today. I don't know how I missed it?

You are so right. The full story of Jesus needs to be told at Christmas time.

You mentioned that the RCC focuses on Mary and His child birth. I believe they do this for a very good reason, for the very same reason they portray Jesus' picture as a baby being held in the arms of Mary all the time. They hope to instill in people's minds that Jesus plays a subordinate roll to the Virgin Mary, and that He is needy and dependant upon her, which is why I hate those pictures.

Also, Dan, look at the cross they display in their churches, Christ is always depicted as still hanging on the cross. This is SOOOO wrong; Christ conquered the cross, rose from the dead and is sitting at the right hand of the Father. They are still worshipping a dead Jesus clinging to the cross to go along with their dead faith.

Sis MaryMary Elizabeth Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08915438088186414796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1705336577415841089.post-65821776547296003802009-12-18T07:55:07.375-08:002009-12-18T07:55:07.375-08:00Hey sis,
Sorry to take so long to get back to ya....Hey sis,

Sorry to take so long to get back to ya.

I know you know all this but...

The reason I posted this script is to acknowledge the full account of truth regarding Jesus' journey to earth. So often this time of year Christians are steered to focus on Mary and His child birth which is an RCC emphasis. They do not emphasize in praise and thanksgiving the first and most important aspect of who He really is (God), and that He came from heaven to earth, clothed Himself in flesh, and dwelt among us-that is,to become a servant and to die, even to death at the Cross so that the One triune God's people would be saved.

So often too, many do not emphasize (preach and teach), during each Christmas season the most important event of Christ's heavenly and earthly journey which proves He is both 100% God and 100% Man. I am referring to His resurrection and returning to heaven fully glorified and exalted to the highest place from where He first chose His God to Man to God/Man mission for the predestined purpose of establishing a personal relationship with His people.

Christmas nor the Easter season celebration of Christ isn't complete unless the fullness His-(s)tory is the Good News message.

Whatsayyou?

YBIC,

bro DanDaniel Shepherdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05907244108879900283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1705336577415841089.post-54986441611060005942009-12-11T18:52:26.930-08:002009-12-11T18:52:26.930-08:00Awesome, bro Dan!!!Awesome, bro Dan!!!Mary Elizabeth Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08915438088186414796noreply@blogger.com
